THE HISTORY OF HOSANNA PRAISE BAND OF CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH OF NIGERIA (CRCN) LCC KINKINSO SALVATION WUAKRI
It started the earliest year of 2003 when some members of the church met together to startup a group known as praise singers. This is as a result of the need of music in the church is the church is fast growing. They concerned people came up with the group as they all meet three times every week to practice and also to rehearse songs.
They include in the practices day the following: praying and fasting, studying if the bible and host of other activities as the need arises.
That continued until August 2004 when the church Youth came up with the vision of getting musical instrument due to the rapid growth of the church. The instrument were bought after a launching for the for the instrument and it was dedicated to God and was Named HOSANNA PRAISE BAND by REV. Bulus Ode dog the then CRCN LCC PUJE that was when the Kinkinso church is still under Puje LCC with Evangelist Emmanuel Andokari as the church head.
However, the pioneers of the Praise Singers (Bro. James NE Timothy, Bro. Agbu E. Agbu and host of others) were took part in the enrolment into the Hosanna praise Band as the praise singers is been dissolved and had one month solid period of training with the CRCN General music Director Bro Samson S.S. Bonku. The members of the group as at then were about 20 in number with the leaders inclusive. Elder Lazarus Magaji was elected from the council of Elders as the first representative of the group to the council of Elders and follow by Elder Jonah Aseyo as the second representative after a re-election of the Church.
The following people emerge as the excoes of the group as from that period to the period of the church general election. They include:
